Okay wow...

Okay wow...

It's been almost three years since I last updated this blog, but now since I left you guys on a cliffhanger for three years, I'll tell you guys what's been going on lately:

I have developed new interests, and these interests take up a large part of my time. And unfortunately, there's this thing called puberty where you lose interest in things you once liked. Club Penguin was one of them. I was around maybe 9 when I made this blog, but I'm 16 now. The last post I made was when I was around 13. I am in my teens now, and I've outgrown this game. However, I still do, occasionally go on for parties and stuff because well, I haven't entirely let this site go. I am no longer able to update this blog as I just have too much to handle all at once. At least I gave a good explanation, some of the Club Penguin legends like Mimo777 and Tazboi (still can't believe I remembered their names, oh my god) just dropped off the face of the Earth, and so did my friends R2d3c3po and LB26. So I feel I should go as well.

As for my YouTube channel (Feathergeencp in case any of you forgot, or actually care), that has now been converted into a new channel for spoof videos of Cartoon Network's Regular Show. I still update that channel constantly, so you can always find me there. I don't make Club Penguin videos anymore because a few people from school found my channel, and bullied me to death about it. I'd make a more mature comedy featuring Club Penguin, however, most of it would be for mature audiences only, and as we all know, you get banned for that sort of stuff on Club Penguin (I would try CPPS.me, but it seems like it's down). I might make one final CP video, but I have no idea, probably not. I considering making an animated comedy featuring Feathergreen, because I can't just ABANDON him? Me and him have had lots of adventures on CP, so why not make it live on without the restrictions of actual Club Penguin?

So, this is goodbye from Feathergreen. I wish you all luck. Stay frosty, keep your flippers warm, it's almost Christmas, chill by the fire, and maybe close your laptop and get out your igloo so you can go outside. Haha, okay bye.

Club Penguin Celebrates Saint Patrick's Day at the Mine Shack!

Hello Penguins! Feathergreen here with some very important news! I know we have all been feeling down ever since Club Penguin stopped having Saint Patrick's Day parties in Club Penguin. The last Saint Patrick's Day Party happened in 2010, and it was a blast, but now because of the fact that Club Penguin has gotten more worldwide, with Portuguese, Spanish, French, etc., Club Penguin realized that not every penguin around the world celebrated Saint Patrick's Day, so they removed Saint Patrick's Day Parties off of the party list. Well, Club Penguin got a mouthful from other penguins around that time in 2011, when they announced that they are not having a Saint Patrick's Day Party again because of the fact that not everybody around the world celebrated Saint Patrick's Day, so they replaced it with an Igloo Decorating Contest. But the penguins needed a physical award, and not something they have to tear down after it is over. So this year, in 2012, they left a surprise waiting for us at the Mine Shack near the Recycling Center... Yep, they decorated the entire place with shamrocks, clovers, gold, etc. They also left a free item for us, the Gigantic St. Patrick's Day Hat, which can be retrieved by EVERYBODY, INCLUDING NON-MEMBERS, AT THE MINE SHACK. But there is still a problem with this. They are on the right track with the free item thing, but there is one teensy little problem: This is an OLD item. Yeah, the Gigantic St. Patrick's Day Hat was an item that was introduced to the Penguin Style Catalog in March 2009. Man, what is up with all of these old items returning? That's all for now!

Puffle Party '12!

Hello Penguins! Feathergreen here with the highlights of the 2012 Puffle Party! Before we begin, I just want to apologize that I am posting this on the last day of the party because of my tight schedule. On with the highlights! Let's start out with the free items. First, go to the Town to pick up your free Polka Dot Puffle Hat!

Now, to the member's only and special rooms!

Let's go to the Puffle Show, which returned again this year, where you can pick up a free Mini Polka Dot Puffle Hat. This room is a member's only room
See the camera over there on a tripod? If you stand in front of it, and click the camera, you will receive a free First Prize Puffle Background! Now, let's head on over to the Rooftop. Again, you will need a paid membership to access this room. Pretty sweet, huh? Now, let's go to the Box Dimension near the Beach. This does NOT require a paid membership. You can go to the Beach, go into the purple swirl inside the box, and you will find- WHAT THE-?! This just happens to be the room for the Orange Puffles, and you will find them munching on a bunch of cookies. Also, if you head on down to the Snow Forts, and go through the entrance labeled "Puffle Feeding", you can feed puffles in the famous Puffle Feeding Room! This does NOT require a paid membership. I have saved the best for last. Go to the Ski Lodge, and you will now be in the waiting room of the new Puffle Play Area! This does NOT require a paid membership. Here, you can pick up a Mini Polka Dot Puffle Hat! Also, if you are a member, you can purchase Puffle Costumes! Choose a color that you like, and purchase your costume! Each costume costs $400 each. I got every single costume! :D

NOTE: I got this picture of off Mimo777's website, Club Penguin Gang, because I accidently forgot to take a picture myself, and I am editing this with my laptop, which does not have a good print screen.

See that door over there? In there, you could go through it, and you will be in the actual Puffle Play Area, where you can transform into one of your puffles! How cool is THAT? Unfortunately, this part of the new room DOES require a paid membership. When you go in, it will ask you to choose a puffle you would like to become. It may look different depending on how well you care for them, and with my tight schedule right now, well, I haven't had time to actually care for them. I think I will choose my Green Puffle, Glowey Now, this is a picture of me inside the Puffle Play Area. Here, only puffles are allowed in here, no penguins! And apparently, I can travel through Club Penguin as a puffle! Don't worry. You are not stuck as a puffle forever. If you go to your player card as a puffle, it will show a picture of your puffle, and a button below it to make you into a penguin again! My favorite room is probably the yellow puffle room in The Lighthouse. Here, you can have a self-portrait done by a Yellow Puffle with your name on it, and a picture of you. The color of your penguin will vary depending on the color of your penguin.

That's all for now, and enjoy the 2012 Puffle Party!

Rockhopper's Quest '12 Free Item Switch!

Hello Penguins!

This is Feathergreen with an unusual change. Remember in the post about Rockhopper's Quest 2012 how I mentioned that the free item was a Crew Cap? Well, five days after that post, Club Penguin had mysteriously switched the free item from a Crew Cap, to a Life Vest.

What is strange about this item is that it had originally been a free item when Rockhopper's Ship crashed into an iceberg back in January 2008, and the entire Migrator sunk to the bottom of the ocean. When he arrived on a rowboat, it was parked at the Dock, along with a barrel full of life vests. The reason for the change is unknown

That's all for now!

Rockhopper's Quest '12!

Hello Penguins!

Feathergreen here with the highlights of the 2012 Rockhopper's Quest! I sure am glad this is not another membership advertisement, like the the past two "parties". The Fashion Show, and the Underwater Expedition were basically membership advertisements, but for once, this is the first actual party of the year. Onto the highlights!

Before you get onto Rockhopper's Ship, don't forget to pick up a free Crew Cap at the Beach! (avaliable to all players)

UPDATE 2/29/12: Club Penguin mysteriously switched the Crew Cap with a Life Vest. This is unusual considering the fact that this item was given out to all players when Rockhopper's Ship, the Migrator, crashed into an iceberg and sunk to the bottom of the ocean back in January 2008

NOW, you can get on board to the Migrator! In fact, EVERYBODY (including non-members) can go on this quest! Yahoo!

You can see that the Migrator is pretty decked out for this quest. It's got armor, drills, a gigantic fan, and everything!

Now, you might be pretty ticked off of one teensy little difference about the Migrator on Rockhopper's visit this time. Look closely at the ship, THERE'S NO SHOP! Unfortunately, we must wait until Rockhopper's NEXT visit to Club Penguin.

Also, if you are a non-member, now is maybe your only chance to get the Out to Sea stamp, which is only recieved by sailing away from the island on a boat.

The first stop is the Swashbuckler Trading Post. Pretty neat, huh?

See the cargo up on that plank of wood? You must click on it, so it will bring it back to the ship! Now there USED to be cargo, but since I took these pictures AFTER I did the quest, there is no cargo there anymore, but you get the point.

Member Girls! You can buy swashbuckler clothing over in the trading post!

I am now going to hand over the post to my pal Feathergleen, because there is really no point in taking pictures of an empty box or something because I already did the quest. I found out he hadn't done it yet, so the cargo is there! Feathergleen, I now turn to you.

Thank you, Feathergreen. Now that our buisness is through here, let's get back on the ship. Our second stop, Dinosaur Island!

See that diamond over there? That is the second piece of cargo you must bring back to the ship. Click on it, and a note will appear saying ti was added to the ship, but watch out for the...

... trap.

You could just get out of the trap by walking through it, but I suggest it's good if you are making a video, and somebody just landed in jail. Just a suggestion.

Members! (unlike me), there is ANOTHER catalog!

Our last stop is Shipwreck Island. Pretty spooky, huh?

What Feathergreen has circled are the parts to the Shipwreck Beacon. They were a bit hard to see, so that's why he circled it. He's a pretty cruddy artist, don't you think?

HEY!

*slugs Feathergleen in the flipper*

Owwwwch!

... anyways, before I run over to get an ice pack, click the parts of the Shipwreck Beacon until you build it. After you build it, you will get a Shipwreck Beacon Pin. I cannot disclose the picture here, but you could check out the Pins section of this site.

NOTE TO ALL EPF AGENTS: If you accepted the Field Op for this week, after you build the Shipwreck Beacon, your EPF cell phone will go off, and when you click on it, it will say "Location Found". This means you have found Field Op #70 and you have to solve the puzzle, so your work isn't done just yet.

Now, Feathergreen will pick up where I left off, while I go get an ice pack from the freezer. Feathergreen, back to you.

Thanks Feathergleen, and no thanks Feathergleen for calling my artwork cruddy.

*calls from a faraway distance* Sorry!

Anyways, Members! Before you leave Shipwreck Island, don't foget to go into the glowing green cave, otherwise known as the Hall of the Viking Lords!

See that casket over there? If you click on it, the casket will open up, to reveal a Viking Lord Helmet, and some Viking Lord Armor!

Now that the quest is overwith, you could get back on the ship and sail back to Club Penguin Island. If you want to get back onto the ship again, there will be a little sign on the front of the ship. Click the sign, and it will show a map of all the islands. Click on the island you want to go to, and you are automatically warped there. Now you could go back to any island you want!

This is Feathergreen

*calls from a faraway distance* and Feathergleen!

Signing off. That's all for now, and enjoy the 2012 Rockhopper's Quest!
